Veg Nation is a collaboration of two like-minded individuals seeking to make a small impact on the world by spreading a message of compassion and conscious decisions. We had the idea to create our store after being inspired by other companies and activists from around the world. We have been to vegan restaurants and stores throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia. During our travels, it has become clear that there is a way to live a vegan lifestyle no matter where you are. And the best way to influence others is to lead by example. Wearing clothing that has a message can often start conversations that will change a person’s point of view, which we have seen firsthand many times. Even if they don’t change on the spot, planting a seed in their mind can lead to big changes in time.
We believe there is a way to make a living while also practicing your values, which is why, along with promoting the vegan message, we elected to use the most ethically sourced and environmentally friendly materials available to us. Veganism and environmentalism go hand in hand, and we wanted to respect that ideal with our products as much as possible. We try to live our lives as responsibly as possible, and have found that a vegan lifestyle is one of the most effective ways to do this. Of course, we love all animals, down to the smallest spider, and want to see the horrible oppression that so many face in the meat and dairy industries(along with clothing, entertainment, etc.) end as soon as possible. We believe this can happen in our lifetime, and hope that our products will help to affect even the smallest amount of change in that direction.
